i went to the pike street fair on saturday. 75 degrees out and chilling with friends. plus living with a prayer was on in the background so me and becka were able to sing.

isaac introduced me to this guy and lately i've been listening to this song non-stop. i'll admit his music is a bit slow for my usual tastes, but he's a genius.

Vent about Tents

there's WAY TOO MUCH of a brouhaha over tent city 3 being held on the uw campus. crime statistically doesn't go up with tent cities and plus there's hella homeless in the udistrict already, it's not like we're not already exposed to these people. where else are they supposed to stay? uw isn't a homeless shelter, but if the city and state won't do anything to at least alleviate the problem then uw should. it'll help the school's karma considering all the budget cuts.

aside from my own rants, ra ra riot was fun to see on the hub lawn today although it did get a little boring so i left to take a nap. at least it was free.

vancouver looks beautiful, but alas, i can't go for mike's birthday today. brokeassness + finals are prohibiting me from finally using my passport here.



there's sun in seattle? what? but i can't enjoy it. no. i have finals and only two weeks left in this great place. sad sad sad.

i don't understand why people are so opposed to gay marriage. and it sucks that prop 8 got upheld in court, but things are changing and people are becoming less ignorant (or at least hopefully they are). spread love, not h8.

i definitely am going to this festival next year, although hopefully with better planning next time



i cannot wait to get home this summer and go to the beach... maybe visit the boardwalk as well for old time's sake? or just go to san gregorio beach? too many choices



i also realized that i have not been to the aquarium in ages...



...and i'm going to outside lands at least for a day this summer.
